Chat that does the work
A general chatbot can answer Unreal questions, but it cannot see your project or click anything. An Unreal Engine AI chat built for the editor goes further: you ask in plain words, and it makes the change in your open project and shows you what it did.
How chatting with Dola works
- Open your project in Unreal Editor and attach it in the Dola desktop app.
- Ask: "add a sprint to the player character with a stamina bar".
- Dola plans the steps, edits Blueprints and widgets, compiles, and replies with the changes.
- Ask follow-ups in the same chat: "make the bar fade out when full".
It asks before risky changes such as config, plugins or deleting assets. Setup is in getting started.
What to ask
- "Why does this Blueprint fail to compile?"
- "Where is the jump height set in this project?"
- "Add a pause menu with resume and quit."
- "Light this room for a night scene."
How the agents behind the chat plan and check their work is in Unreal Engine AI agent.
