Build with Dola
First Blueprint workflow
How Dola edits Blueprints in the live Unreal Editor: what to have open, how to phrase the request, and how changes are compiled and saved.

Before you ask
Stay in game-dev mode (not Modeling). Attach the project, install the plugin, and open Unreal so the desktop app can reach the editor. See connect an Unreal project.
What happens when you ask
Dola finds the Blueprint, reads its graph, and makes the change in the open editor: adding and wiring nodes, setting variables, or adding components. It then tidies the layout, compiles and saves, and tells you what it changed. It works on the real asset in the editor, not on guessed file contents.
Start with a named Blueprint that already exists and a small change you can check, for example: “In BP_Door, open the door over one second when the player presses E nearby.” If something does not compile, Dola reports the error and fixes it in the same chat.
Tools used
Blueprint editing tools cover reading graphs, finding nodes, wiring, variables, components, compile, save, and layout. Before big edits, create a checkpoint so you can roll back.
