Getting started

Create a Dola account, wait for access, install the app, connect an Unreal project, then try a Blueprint or C++ task.

1. Account and waitlist

Create an account to join the waitlist. Access rolls out in waves. Sign-ups can close when the list is full. After you have access, sign in on dolaai.pro.

2. Desktop app or VS Code

Platforms, the UE 5.7 plugin zip, and the in-app install button are spelled out in Install and prerequisites. Signed-in users with access download from Releases. The VS Code extension is dolaai.

3. Connect Unreal

Attach the project, install the plugin, open the editor. Step-by-step: Connect an Unreal project. Plugin internals: Unreal Engine plugin.

4. Ask for real editor work

Stay in game-dev mode for Blueprints and C++. First passes: Blueprint workflow · C++ assistance. Modeling is a different toggle — Modeling mode. Longer product page: AI coding assistant for Unreal Engine.
