Troubleshooting

Confirm the project is attached, the Dola plugin is installed for that project, and Unreal Editor is open on UE 5.7 after a first install. Handshake failures the editor specialist reports include plugin_absent, handshake_timeout, and wrong_project. Re-run Install Dola plugin rather than inventing a console command.

Releases are for signed-in users with access. If the dashboard shows a waitlist place, launch spots were full when you signed up; you get the download when a spot opens. Sign up or check your access.

With Dola-hosted models, calls stop when your included and extra credits are used up or your sign-in has expired — not because Unreal is broken. Sign in again, check remaining credits on the Subscription page, then wait for renewal, buy an extra credit pack, or switch to your own API key in Settings → Model → Override provider, which uses no Dola credits.

With your own key, errors come from your provider: check the key, the model name in provider/model form, and your balance with that provider. Credits and limits FAQ · models and pricing

Dola checks the live modeling scene before it calls a model done. If the viewport still looks empty, off-camera, or unfinished, say what is wrong and ask it to fix it. Stay in Modeling mode for mesh work; do not expect Unreal to show that viewport.

Use the method you signed up with: email and password, or Google. On the login page, type your email, then choose Forgot your password? for a reset email. More fixes are in the Dola login guide.

Sign in at dolaai.pro and open Profile. Under Delete account, choose Delete account, type your email or DELETE, and confirm. If you are still on the waitlist, the same button is on the waitlist screen. Deletion is permanent: it stops billing, signs you out, and removes your account data; remaining credits are lost.

Chats and project indexes live on your computer, not in your account, so delete them yourself as described in the privacy policy. Can't sign in? Email support@dolaai.pro from the address on the account.

Dola AI at dolaai.pro is only the Unreal Engine assistant: a desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux plus an Unreal Editor plugin. Other, unrelated apps also use the name Dola. Their logins, subscriptions, limits, and account deletion are separate, so contact that app's support. We can only help with accounts created on dolaai.pro.
