Install and prerequisites
Platforms, waitlist access, Unreal Engine 5.7 plugin builds, and where the desktop installer actually comes from.

Access first
Downloads sit behind a signed-in account with waitlist access. Create an account first. Sign-ups can close when the list is full. We do not publish a public direct download URL that skips that gate.
Desktop platforms
The desktop app ships installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The signed-in Releases page picks the package from the latest GitHub release (exe / dmg / AppImage and related artifacts). Copyright on the installer is “Dola AI”.
The VS Code extension is published as dolaai. Sign-in from the app uses a short-lived browser code, not a pasted API key.
Unreal Engine version
Published plugin builds are currently for Unreal Engine 5.7 (release zips named like Dola-5.7-Win64.zip). The desktop app installs against the engine series of the project you open. We do not claim every Unreal 5.x release is packaged today.
Plugin install is in-app
After you attach a project, use Install Dola plugin in the desktop app. That writes the plugin into Dola’s local plugin folder and points the project’s AdditionalPluginDirectories at that install. We are not inventing a CLI install command here.
